Offending message [Source]: “Do not be bitter and go on slapping on the Government senselessly because you did not get any fruits or benefits from your forefather. You will have to blame on your karma or your forefathers for not getting all the paths right for their off springs.”
Aftermath: A PAP member by the name of Eric How lodged a police report for impersonation, but the offender remained anonymous

 

 

 

27 July 2010 – Jack Lin Xin Li, YPAP grassroot leader, Singaporean Chinese

Offending message[Source]: “We got first class ministers and govt, but still got 3rd class citizens.”
Aftermath: Apologies made.

 

 

 

23 July 2011 – Wang Peng Fei, ex-EADS student, China Chinese


Offending message translated from Chinese [Source]: “malay girls, why are you so black…do you just know how to give births?”
Police report lodged by Alex Tan Zhixiang, Singapore Police placed arrest warrant on Wang Peng Fei
Aftermath: Apologies made, $10,000 deposit with EADS  forfeited, managed to fled to Shanghai before Singapore Police caught him

Offending message under a picture of a school bus with young malay children from Huda Kindergarten [Source]: “Bus filled with young terrorist trainees?”
Police report lodged by Abdul Salim, no follow-up from Singapore Police
Aftermath: Apologies made, police investigation remain unknown

 

 

27 March 2012 – Sun Xu, current NUS scholar, China Chinese

Offending message translated from Chinese [Source]: “There are more dogs than humans in Singapore”
Police report lodged by Alex Tan Zhixiang, no follow up actions from Singapore Police
Aftermath: Apologies made, fined $3000, scholarship benefits for final semester removed and required to perform three months of community service

 

 

9 October 2012 – Amy Cheong, ex-NTUC assistant director, ex-Malaysian Australian Chinese

Offending message [Source]: “How many fcuking days do malay weddings at void decks go on for??? Fcuk!!! Pay for a real wedding you asshole, maybe then the divorce rate wont be so high! How can society let people get married for 50 bucks? Kns!”

Aftermath: Apologies made, fired from NTUC post, Amanda returned to Australia
